Low altitude economy, meteorological monitoring, slope care, Beidou to help the development of multiple industries!
During the Mobile World Congress held in Shanghai in 2024, China Mobile Shanghai Industrial Research Institute demonstrated the low-altitude economy display platform based on park inspection, which integrates the core capabilities of Beidou high-precision positioning, 3D navigation map, real-time flight task scheduling and AI large model, and has high application value in the field of low-altitude economy. At present, the platform has played an important role in the rescue of the Jishishan earthquake in Gansu province, the plant protection of high-standard farmland in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, and the drone delivery in Shenzhen.
Recently, Xishuangbanna Menghai County Meteorological Bureau built a Beidou-3 satellite communication terminal in Menghai County Jingpipe-3, and officially put into use.
It is understood that the local geographical environment is complex, and it is difficult to fully cover mobile signals in remote areas, and these areas are often high-risk areas where natural disasters such as flash floods, mudslides and landslides occur frequently. In order to solve the data transmission problem of comprehensive observation equipment such as regional automatic weather stations and portable automatic stations operating in these areas, Beidou satellite communication is used to transmit meteorological monitoring data to provide accurate and timely first-hand data for meteorological forecasting and early warning and disaster prevention and reduction, so as to better perform various meteorological support services.
Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Transport issued the "Notice on the announcement of the evaluation results of the Highway Monitoring and early warning Application Demonstration List (the first batch)", and the "Octopus fiber Probe & Beidou slope care system" organized by Jilin Expressway Group Co., Ltd. was successfully shortlisted.
Focusing on the integration of industry and science, the program uses optical fiber sensing technology and Beidou high precision to monitor slope status, which is of great significance to improve the early warning ability of highway slope disasters, ensure road safety and driving safety, and reduce economic losses and social impacts caused by slope disasters.
